I love fruit smoothies. My favorites are blended frozen strawberry-banana, ripe mango, and mango-banana combos. Sometimes, I add chia seeds and honey in the mix. When juicing and green smoothies became a fad, I never got into it mainly because I didn't like the idea of drinking and mixing raw veggies in my fruit shakes. Hindi lang ako sanay na iniinom ang gulay unless it's in soup form. But I know they're healthy. Then came these power breakfast smoothie bowls that I see posted on Instagram. It got me curious but have never tried one before until BLISS BOWLS opened.

Welcome to TICKLES Gift Shopping Wonderland

You know you're an 80s kid when you trooped to Greenhills and shopped for trinkets, gifts and novelty items at TICKLES. I was one of those girls who regularly check out this treasure trove for quirky finds. Since school is just minutes away, my friends and I used to buy stationery, stickers, cute school supplies, and other kitchy items we fancy. I am a foodie at heart and I do appreciate a range of cuisines as well as how food was prepared. Filipino cuisine, with all it's Spanish and Oriental influences, is a fusion of exotic flavors. Comfort food for the soul. Admittedly, there are only a handful of Pinoy restos that I can claim to love and go back to. Fun Friday: Batik Dyeing Workshop

Paisley is one of my favorite prints. It's swirls and intricate details make it more alluring and kinda exotic. This is the print I wanted for my first batik dyeing project. I was actually not supposed to be at the event due to conflict of schedule, but unexpectedly, it freed up and I immediately asked if there was still a slot left for me 'coz I really wanted to attend. To quote Paulo Coelho, "and when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it." So, I made it, and I even won the contest! Meant to be? I believe so!

Home-Style: 53 Benitez - Rockwell Primaries Pops Up at SM Megamall

It's been ages since I had a Home-Style post.  I miss featuring fine home interiors and design. Well, I got lucky and was able to visit a luxe condo unit just yesterday. This Home-Style post will be slightly different since there is no home owner here, but you can actually see the interiors of the property. My blogger friends and I were invited to view Manila’s first ever 1-bedroom pop-up model unit at SM Megamall by Rockwell Primaries, a subsidiary of Rockwell Land. It was quite a unique experience, being toured right in the middle of a mall, but feeling like you're in an actual condo unit! =)  Scroll down and see what I mean.
