It's always exciting to shop for girls' clothes. There is just an abundance of cute, fabulous, and stylish frocks out there that you'll never run out of options when buying for the little ladies. Naturally, I thank God for giving us a daughter -- shopping is twice as fun for me, heehee! One of our go-to shops is Pois Belly and Kids, where we find lots of casual and special occasion clothes for girls.

The girl is turning 8 next month and she's starting to outgrow most of her clothes now. We don't usually go on a major shopping spree for her wardrobe and footwear, just a few pieces at a time 'coz at this stage, they seem to grow bigger, faster. Thanks to Pois Belly and Kids, we were able to enjoy early Christmas shopping at their Megamall branch, picking out gifts and party dresses for the holidays and for her upcoming birthday. Here are my top picks from their latest collection:
Look how attractive these apricot and salmon colored dresses are!
Simple and elegant for the little misses. The lace dress is a classic.
Can you guess which one the girl chose for her birthday dress? :) We got a size 10.
The outer layer of these dresses are similar to soft tulle, and embellished with dainty floral appliqués.
The left one features a bubble skirt, while the other has bows on the shoulders.
I love the color combination of this powdery pastel shades. Blush and blue.
The girl can't decide if she wants the dress or the separates. Maybe we'll get both on our next visit! =)
Check out the tiny pink pompom details on the blouse, paired with scallop hemmed shorts.

I'd like to get that chambray mini skirt for the girl -- if she'll wear it.
She's fond of wearing leggings, so we got this quirky gray and purple set -- dog print on the top, and cats on the bottom.
I also got this shirt with ruffles, which is very easy to pair with pants or shorts.
It's not summer yet, but this easy breezy shirt dress caught our eyes the moment we entered the store.
The dress is so light, with tiny floral prints. Now, I want one for myself too!
She didn't take it off anymore after fitting, never mind if it's all wrinkled.
The girl was drawn to this colorful rack of bracelets and she immediately pointed to that blue braided cord with pearl and crystal charms (middle of the lower photo). These fun accessories are currently available in Shangri-la Plaza, TriNoma, Alabang Town Center, SM Megamall and MOA branches only.
This girly set by the window display has a frilly skirt with a layer of dotted tulle, like Swiss lace, paired with an embellished tank top.
Beside it is this collared Belly Maternity shirt dress that looks so cool and smart, perfect for day wear.
