I take pleasure in grocery-shopping as much as shopping for clothes and shoes. Crazy? Maybe. I find it therapeutic. Navigating the cart through each aisle, browsing and reading labels, discovering new items to try, and scoring good deals. We do weekly one-stop shopping at the supermarket to restock everything.
Usually, I shop alone coz I get to focus on what I need to buy and not wait for anyone else. I can even grab a snack and just chill. Alone. =) Sometimes, we schedule a family day when J and the kids come along for a major shopping galore coz they get to choose their own drinks and snacks.
At my recent trip to Shopwise, I went alone and leisurely completed my grocery list. Stress on "leisurely", hahaha... kasi shopping there was fuss-free so I just took my sweet time checking out the goods and summer deals. Shopwise Araneta Center Cubao branch is huge and it was a breeze going through each section. They had everything I needed, and more!

A wide variety of local and imported brands to choose from in the wet and dry section, as well as a selection of organic produce.
Shopwise has in-house brands like SureBuy (I hoard their tissue boxes and toilet paper, heehee) and imported Papa Alfredo olive oil.
Fresh cuts of meats delivered daily.
They have grass-fed and Aussie beef varieties that I personally prefer. Look at those beautiful porterhouse and sirloin steaks!

We get to buy as much or as little as we need. Get your dried fish, fruits, nuts and candies by grams.

What I love about the Health & Beauty department is they have a dedicated pharmacy within the section. No need to go elsewhere to buy vitamins and other basic medicine and first aid.
5. WINE & DELI
Part of the brand promise of enjoying the good life you can afford, I was pleased that Shopwise has a deli, cheese and charcuterie selection. As part of Rustan Supercenters group, I expected no less.
Take your pick from a fully stocked shelf of imported and local beers, and spirits. Everyday is happy hour here, hahaha! But seriously, they carry all the brands I buy.
Winemakers Reserve is their exclusive brand.
6. FOOD MARKET
One of the best parts about my grocery shopping at Shopwise was being able to take a break, sit down, and dine inside the hypermarket. Pwedeng tambayan for family members to grab some snacks or dine together after you're done shopping.
Shopwise operates several food outlets to serve hungry customers and companions. Choose from Mongolian Strir Fry, Sushi Express, sandwich bar, and Soda Fountain. Grab some breads and pastries too.
7. SPECIAL SERVICES
Good news for families with restless kids coz there's a play area where the littles ones can hang out. You just pay by the hour and shop in peace. This is such a good idea!
