Can you say no to a "shopping party"? When friends invite me to similar events, I really try to attend mainly because I want to see what's new out there (of course the free shopping is a big bonus). Since I don't really consider myself a shoppaholic, I am not as familiar with current retail and online brands, and even bazaar favorites. One recent event I attended was a media luncheon for Fifth Rack concept store with their impressive line-up of brands, so I'm sharing some of the items that caught my eye.
During the intimate lunch at Duck & Buvette in Shangrila mall, guests were asked to create a flatlay using some of the sample products provided by Fifth Rack, which opened it's store just three months ago. Winners will get first dibs in the picking from the displayed items. Well, guess who got lucky that day? Meeee! =) Top photo is my winning flatlay, yahoo! So I get the first 2 minutes to pick out 4 items to bring home. Too bad these gorgeous pieces below, from Ornamento Jewelry, were not included from the display, hehehehe! I was able to grab a chiffon wrap, a maxi skirt, a Fille et Fils cologne, and a roomy Myrrh and Gold travel bag that's perfect for our staycations and overnight trips!
