Mom-Finds: Shirts and Tunics

It's the first day of the month, and I'm late by a day of posting my Mom-Finds (if you've been reading my entries, I recently started a regular feature with my thrift finds for budget-conscious women like me, as I always find it rewarding to have something you really like and enjoy without breaking the bank).

I have been juggling my schedules for the past week now, and even with the long weekend, I wasn't able to have a good long rest.  Good thing I was able to collate all these photos early on, and so here are some colorful everyday tees and casual tunics for the ladies, bargain shoppers or not, all for under P500.

Assorted Tops

P150 @ : Branded overruns in assorted styles, shapes and colors.
Very comfy to wear over jeans, shorts or skirts.
Available at Camis and Tees, 2nd level of Shoppesville Greenhills (but they don't have a signage, you will just find a row of colorful folded shirts on the display table and walls) and at Tiendesitas.
I bought this gray No Boundaries brand top, in stretch cotton with ruched detail on the scoop neckline, and short puff sleeves.  It fits me perfectly, at size L!  I was told the sizes for this style are smaller than normal.

P450 : I love this bright yellow, semi-trapeze blouse, with pleated neckline.  The light fabric reminded me of my first peasant-style blouse from eons ago.  Bought this from Hug in the tiangge (bazaar) area in Greenhills. They also have a store in Tiendesitas.

These tunics from Pink Buttons at Tiendesitas (in Frontera Verde, Pasig) offer classic tailored looks to loose and funky that's great for work and even casual parties and weekend gimmicks.

P450 :  Tunic blouses in basic colors.  I was able to haggle for P400, and got myself this one in mocha.  Love the pleat detail on the wide rounded collar, and half-circle side pockets (sorry, the pockets are not so visible here)

Another tunic with stitch design, from Pink Buttons, @ P400 (haggled price)

P150 :  from a stall in Robinsons Galleria.
I bought two items from this stall, the other one at P500 (I failed to include it here). Very comfortable, soft t-shirt fabric with mock-turtle neck and ruffled strips on the chest.

Just a tip with the last one, which I got in black, if the item is made from ordinary fabric with not-so-perfect stitching, always go for darker colors so the imperfections and quality of the fabric will not be as obvious. This blouson is such a steal, I even found an almost exact look and feel for P350 from a different store!
It's the start of bargain shopping for the coming holiday season, welcome to the 'Ber' months!
