Mom-Finds for May: Round-up of Summer Finds

May has been a very good month and one of the most memorable, mainly because we were able to travel with the kids to Cebu last weekend. June is considered rainy season na kasi so nakahabol kami sa summer vacation, and I am very thankful that we had chance. Sadly, I missed posting my Mom-Finds feature last Friday, so pahabol na rin itong post since last day of May na today. =) I've discovered a lot of amazing new products this month which I also shared on my Instagram, and rounding them up here for all of you.

What Do Titas Want for Christmas?

Last Friday of the month:  Mom-Finds / Shopping / Gifts

I have a list of "wants" in my head right now that I don't know which one I would like to have first. Oops, I got a bag na pala, heehee. But I am wishing for more, and most are the same as what my friends want too! =) Christmas is the perfect season(excuse) to indulge, to reward ourselves, and at the same time, extend generosity and charity as well.  It's really a time to be merry. For today, instead of featuring a shopping find, I thought of sharing what my fellow moms are wishing for this holiday season. None of that world peace kind of wish, okay?! Let's all be frivolous, at least for this feature. To make it more interesting, I only asked friends who are in the 40 and above age bracket to give me their top 3 wishes.

Freestyle Friday: Hooked on Reformer Pilates at Onelife Studio

Freestyle Friday:  Health and Fitness

We have an extra Friday again this month, so it's Freestyle Friday and anything goes! Today, I'm sharing my new fitness discovery -- Reformer Pilates at Onelife Studio.

It was 1998 when I first heard about pilates. I hit the gym twice a week with my co-workers then and pilates was being offered in the same location as Bramante gym.  All I knew then was that it's a different method of exercise using a unique type of equipment, mainly to stretch and strengthen the body. It did not appeal to us since we saw mostly "older" women, or moms attending the class, hehehehe! Of course, we were younger then and all we wanted to do was weight training exercises to tone our bodies.  And now, it's my turn doing pilates! :p

Yoga at Urban Ashram Manila: Flexibility Not Required

Yoga: a physical, mental, and spiritual discipline, originating in ancient India. The goal of yoga, or of the person practicing yoga, is the attainment of a state of perfect spiritual insight and tranquility while meditating... (Wikipedia).  To quote Urban Ashram instructor, yogi Marc Macadaeg, "yoga is basically a way to quiet the many voices in your mind."  I believe.

First, I just have to say:  I am a yoga virgin.
