Like water for my skin -- that's how I feel every time I apply this gel cream on my face... no exaggeration! You know me, I rarely feature beauty products on the blog and you're assured that whatever I share here are products that really work for me. My new face cream discovery from Laneige has made me a convert.
Two weekends ago, I was invited to the first joint Beauty Workshop by Marj and Rowena, two of my blogger friends who are beauty and skin experts in their own right. I'll tell you more about that fun-filled learning workshop in another feature soon. They may have another one before the year ends, so be sure to watch out for that. For now, it's just gonna be a short and sweet post with one of the amazing products that got me hooked since I tried it during the event.

The first portion of the workshop was all about taking care of our skin, and it can't be stressed enough that we all need to follow the basic skin care regimen which is: cleanse, tone, moisturize. This is also part of prepping our skin for make-up. But I'm guilty of skipping the toner, heehee.
We all received tons of beauty products from our workshop kit that included this Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream_EX. Laneige is a leading premium Korean cosmetics brand known for their "water science" in skin care, and Rowena swears by their products. It was really a surprise that all the participants received this whole box. We were just expecting a sample pack from the brands, so big thanks to Laneige! =) All of us were encouraged to try the cream before we proceed to applying make-up.
The Water Bank Gel Cream came in this colorful artsy box. It's actually a reusable tin container with a cardboard sleeve. The case reminded me of the cute tin pencil cases of my childhood! =)
Inside, 7 small tubes in different colors and scents neatly lined the pretty box. It's travel-size and we can choose to use one for each day of the week. How cool is that?! =)
Ang cute no? =) From the packaging to the color-coded scents and light texture, I fell in love instantly! I learned that this set sells for PhP1,750 with seven 10-ml tubes. A very reasonable amount for this special moisturizer.
Monday to Sunday, for two straight weeks, I tried each deliciously scented gel cream:
Soap Powdery, Aqua Fresh, Lavender, Musk, Wine, Jasmine & Bergamot, and my favorite of all -- Mandarin.
What I love about Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream:

I'm very basic when it comes to skin care and make-up products. The less steps, the better for me. Wala akong tiyaga talaga. You may have read about that concern several times already. I still have my anti-aging essence and cream for when my face feels extra dry. I save that application before bedtime. But during the day, I find creams too rich. Mainit and feels oily sa face.
I'm so happy Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream works well for me -- day and night! My face immediately feels hydrated upon application and my skin feels really good. That's what I need for my dry, dull skin. I am now tempted to try other Laneige Water Bank products.
