I consider myself a struggling home cook, trying to come up with simple everyday meals for the family. For a change, we got to try Twoanyone.com delivery service a few Sundays back when they offered to bring us homestyle favorites from Cafe Mary Grace. Before I browsed through the online menu of Cafe Mary Grace, I checked out what twoanyone.com has to offer. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they have over 400 restaurants to choose from in 1,000 locations! Now I see what we've been missing, coz we never tried ordering from a third-party delivery service before.
Since we are big on ordering in, our main consideration is the convenience and speed of service. From the regular establishments we call for delivery, we can expect our orders to arrive from as fast as 15 minutes, up to 45 minutes. So I kinda expected that if delivery service was not in-house from the establishment, arrival of orders will take longer than what we're used to. But the main draw of twoanyone.com is the range of services and a long list of restaurants to choose from, including upscale dining places. That's where calling 2121212 would be your best bet.

I was able to call the hotline around six o'clock, on a Sunday. The operator informed me that delivery may take about 60-90 minutes since they are quite loaded at that time. I know it's a bit late so I had a back-up meal already. I still pushed through with ordering since I want to have leftovers for the following day. =) I appreciated that I was forewarned about delivery time and was able to manage my expectations. However, I got two separate call backs half an hour apart to adjust my orders since a couple of food items were not available anymore. That's fine, but I wished there was better coordination with the restaurant to verify availability so order changes can be done with just one call back to save time and re-confirm final orders for immediate dispatch. From initial order-taking to arrival of food took a little over two hours. Good thing all the savory dishes were still hot and fresh, and each one was well packed.
I'm actually glad we got to have food delivered from Cafe Mary Grace in Podium mall because I've already tried a few of their pasta dishes and appetizers, aside from baked goodies like their famous cheese rolls and lemon squares.

A surprise hit for me was this Chicken Inasal sandwich - who would have thought this smokey, flavorful fillet of chicken would be fantastic with pandesal!
The pillowy cheese rolls were sold out, so I got a box of soft, cheesy ensaymada instead...
... plus boxes of decadent Food for the Gods, and my favorite sweet and tart Lemon Squares!
The wide selection of restaurants is the main come-on to dial 2121212 delivery service. Just make an allowance of 2 hours from your call-in time. It's a convenient option for homemakers like me to consider especially if you will have a simple home party or guests coming over for lunch or dinner. There are so many choices from twoanyone.com, and they charge a reasonable 12% service fee on top of total bill.
