Fun Friday: Play and Party at Kidzville

Third Friday of the month:  Recreation / Leisure

A kids' paradise, this whimsical play facility will surely keep children entertained for hours! Designed for kids 13 years old and under, Kidzville is a multi-level indoor playground which also features an interconnecting kiddie village meticulously designed to stimulate children's imagination, promote learning and social interaction.

The intro above said it all. Kidzville Play and Party Center is certainly not your ordinary kids' play center. Young children will especially enjoy the unique, colorful, and made-for-kids indoor town and exciting activity center. Kidzville also offers party packages, beauty services from Club Princess, and special classes from Kindermusik, Trumpets, and Movement Dance Studio, which you will learn more about as you read through this post.

Kidzville opened at The Podium mall late last year and has since been a favorite hangout for kids, and even moms. Last month, my kids and I were invited to spend an afternoon at Kidzville with my fellow mom bloggers and their children. Two weeks earlier, I already brought the boy and girl to play here. It would be an understatement if I say they enjoyed the place.  They didn't want to leave when I told them it was time to go!  Soon enough, we were back at Kidzville and this time it was unlimited play, thanks to our host.

Let me take you around Kidzville.
(Warning: Photo-heavy)

A mini school bus greets you by the entrance... kids can ride and drive in it.

Straight ahead is the snack bar and waiting area, and by the end of the hall is where you register and pay for admission to the play area and other facilities you are availing that day.

For unlimited play, it's PhP 480 per child, and he can stay and play 'til he drops, literally! :p

You can deposit your shoes and other stuff at this counter and you'll be given a claim stub.  Socks are required for all those entering the play area and village.  You can buy socks from the cashier if you don't have one.

Time for the PlayMaze!

The boy and the girl never tire from climbing up and down the maze, passing though tunnels, jumping in and out of the pool of balls...

... and shooting the balls!

You won't miss this triple slide... yes, I was also tempted to slide down!
Ready...

Weeeeee...

A dazzling row of giant cylinders with colorful lights, and filled with bubbling water.

Now, we enter the village for some role-playing.

Care to change in Clark Kent's favorite red phone booth?

The iconic Beetle -- and it's the real deal! Hop in and honk the horn! :)

Your kids can be mechanics for a day and tinker with this cool Volkswagen securely parked at Jojo's garage.

Tyler's Builders have big blocks, tools, and other construction toys even girls can enjoy.

An imposing fire station stands on one side, along with hospital, a classroom, a theater...

Then there's The Country Barn with custom-made plush farm animals that my girl went ga-ga over!

She has tons of stuffed animal toys at home and plays with them constantly. As expected, she was not able to contain her excitement when she entered the barn. I'm just happy she still posed for photos.

Moving along, you'll find this cozy pastry shop -- Sweet Kei's Cafe, complete with coffee tables and chairs that the litte ones can sit on.

At the end of the "road" the Village Shoppe allows the kids to do some grocery shopping or pretend to be the vendor.

This time, it's my turn... moms get to have some fun too over at Club Princess located by the entrance. Little girls can have a make-over at the salon and choose from a selection of cute and fancy accessories.  Or, enjoy a soothing foot spa and pedicure with mommy!
With Kris and Rone
While the kids are having a blast in the play area, us moms took the opportunity to soak our feet and relax to a pampering treatment at this glam lounge.  Happy kids, happy moms. Best. Plan. Ever!

Kindermusik holds classes here too -- perfect for toddlers and pre-schoolers.

The spacious party hall also accommodates participants to the programs being offered by Movement Dance Studio like zumba, jazz and hip hop, pole and belly dancing, and martial arts, among others.  Trumpets Playshop likewise conducts Children's Theater workshops for budding actors and singers. Kidzville is really not just for kids but for adults as well.

And to round up the features of Kidzville, this one-stop venue is ideal for private events. You can choose from several party packages complete with food catering, party theme, and entertainment for a super fun and memorable celebration.

My kids keep on bugging me to bring them there. I love it there too. It's clean, it's bright, it's safe, it's conveniently located, and not a dull moment spent at Kidzville! We will definitely be back.... again, and again!
