Ever since I started my own family, I became in charge of purchasing and budgeting for groceries, and household and personal care items. For most of these stuff -- cleaning agents, shampoos, liquid soaps, and the like, I always try to buy the biggest size available. Why?
- It's practical
- More economical = value-for-money
- Less containers = less junk
- Promotes reuse of dispensers
- Promotes sharing among family members
One classic example is our Lander Antibacterial Liquid Hand Soap. I forgot when I bought that jumbo 1 liter pump above but it lasted for months, and we all love its fresh and light Green Tea and Chamomile scent that lingers after washing our hands. It rinses easily too. I bought it from Unimart and I just refill all our bathroom soap dispensers with this one big bottle. To stretch it further, I fill 1/4 of the dispenser with water before pouring in the liquid soap so it's not so thick. That's more economical don't you think? =)
And just when our liquid hand soap was about to run out (see top photo), I received a big bag of Lander Family-Sized Personal Care products, delivered to my doorstep. Now, I have a spare bottle waiting, and so much more!
