Mom-Finds: Urban Kid-Style for Tots to Teens from ZIPPY

Last Friday of the month:  Mom-Finds / Kid-Style / Shopping

I love shopping for my children's clothes as much as I do mine, and what thrills me even more is finding quality and fashionable kids' apparel at reasonable prices. We all know how kids can quickly outgrow their clothes and shoes so I always consider affordability but without sacrificing comfort and style. Here's great news for moms like me -- my girl and I recently discovered ZIPPY from Portugal and I'm now sharing our latest fashion finds here! ZIPPY joins my short list of favorite kid stores.

ZIPPY is a global brand offering a complete range of children's apparel from 0 to 14 years old, with best prices and value for money.  Following families’ growth offers a unique and stand-out style in a full line of apparel, footwear, accessories and nursery products.

My ZIPPY shopping event early this month was more fun for me 'coz M was able to tag along and personally pick out pieces she liked from ZIPPY's spring-summer 2016 collection. I also got snazzy shirts for the boy. It's so hard to shop for tweens kaya tuwang-tuwa ako that there are so many choices for the 9-12 age group here.

There were too many stylish tops and bottoms for boys and girls, and several easy-breezy dresses and skirts that it took us a while to choose!

The collection has a 70s vibe with a touch of vintage / retro and surfer looks.  I spied several light and powdery blues in cool fabrics like cotton and linen, and funky pieces with bright colors -- perfect not just for summer but all year round.

Here are some of my top picks from the collection, including the cute ensembles above, and our shopping haul from ZIPPY Kid Store in Glorietta 3:

These dainty, flowy tops pair well with cool shorts or slim pants.

The girl picked out this white peasant blouse, and the belted chambray shirt-dress below. Lots of floral prints and laid back button-down shirts too.

Parang lahat ng style type ko and I wanted one in my size too! =)

I showed M several pastel-colored bottoms but she decided on this blue-on-blue floral printed slim pants. I like!

Moving on to the boys' section, I was not really expecting so much coz I know that the styles are quite predictable and standard. But I was pleasantly surprised to find standout pieces that I rarely see from other children's stores.

The selection is not as extensive as the girls' section, but ZIPPY offered great choices from active wear to preppy and dressy tops and bottoms.

If you have a boy, you know how challenging it is to shop for them, diba? Very basic(boring) look nalang lagi and not too many styles to choose from.  That's why I was so happy to find more trendy and stylish pieces here for my tween boy.

I got him a basic collared shirt and a white polo. I especially love their linen shirts (below) which you can casually wear with shorts or dress up with chinos. ZIPPY has classy knitted pullovers and funky hoodies too! So hip, and great for layering.

ZIPPY also carries trendy accessories and casual footwear to complete the look for your youngsters.

We love all our shopping finds! Amazing price points from our loot at P300+ to P1,300+ per piece!

Moms and dads, grannies, titas, ninongs and ninangs, I'm telling you, you will not leave empty handed when you visit ZIPPY Kid Store. There's something for babies, little kids, tweens and teens up to 14. I hope ZIPPY would open another branch in the Greenhills-Ortigas area so we can visit more often. Thank you, ZIPPY! =)
