It's the comeback of FlapJacks' blockbuster favorites and I was delighted to be invited to dine and sample these dishes. Our family enjoys dining at their Greenhills branch so I did not hesitate to accept this treat. Plus, they gave me Gift Cards to raffle off to my dear readers!
I know you're excited with the raffle since I asked you to decide about the FlapJacks prize earlier. But, first allow me to share what we had for our Sunday brunch before I go into the mechanics of the raffle. This will give you an idea what you can savor and enjoy from FlapJacks.
Vigan Longganisa plate - smokey, flavorful local sausages which I dipped in spiced vinegar, served with perfect sunny-side-up eggs. If they only added 1 more piece of longganisa (sausage), I would have finished my rice too! =)

Aside from the breakfast platters, I made sure we tried a couple of FlapJacks' blockbuster favorites which I shared here in an earlier post. The restaurant is bringing back these dishes to the menu and so we tried:
Mango Exotica -- fresh romaine lettuce, sweet bits of raisins and candied cranberries; grilled chicken and ripe mangoes in zesty mango vinaigrette, topped with almond slivers
The taste of this salad is somewhat new to me with the sweet ripe mangoes and candied dried fruits. Hubby liked it, but I still prefer my salads with the classic dressings.
Chicken Stuffed Parmigiana -- tender cheese-stuffed breaded chicken breast roll on a bed of al dente linguine pasta in marinara saucePasta dishes are always safe bets and this parmigiana is something that I would order for lunch or dinner. It's a classic combo of pasta and chicken in tomato-based sauce but with a twist. We were so full and just took home the unfinished portion. Kids enjoyed it as well!
Next time, we'll give the other dishes a try: best-selling Lemon-Pepper Pan Seared White Fish and the Original Hash Brown Burger. These dishes are big enough to share too!
