Chillin' Over Fro-yo at Tutti Frutti - SM Center Pasig

A perfect way to spend a warm sunny day is hanging out with fellow moms over a nice cup of healthy frozen yogurt.  Thanks to Tutti Frutti at SM Center Pasig, I was able to do exactly that one lovely afternoon.

Our host for that casual get-together shared a brief background about Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt, after which he led us to the dispensing machines where we got to taste all the different flavors on offer that day. Yay!!!

With over 50 different Tutti Frutti flavors, they rotate their offerings every week, except for their 3 best-selling flavors: TF Original Tart, Taro, and Ghirardelli-based Death by Chocolate, which are always available. Their store have 8 flavors to choose from. That day, we were able to sample Strawberry Banana, Strawberry, Pomegranate, Vanilla, and Cookies and Cream, aside from the top three mentioned.

Top-selling Tutti Frutti Taro, with it's subtly sweet and not-so-creamy gabi flavor, has been my favorite since the first time I've tasted it last year. I had a blend of Taro and Original Tart. Well, all of us got their Original Tart -- a safe bet with it's smooth, natural, fresh yogurt taste that's not too tart, which I really like. And it's best enjoyed with their fresh fruit toppings!

Surprisingly, I liked their Pomegranate too, having a hint of sweet citrus taste. The Death By Chocolate (DBC) and Strawberry are sure hits to those who prefer the sweet and creamy flavor with the healthy fat-free goodness of yogurt. We noticed that their fro-yo has a very smooth consistency, yet it doesn't melt easily -- plus points for that.

We all had a hard time choosing our toppings from the wide selection. My personal choices:  fresh fruits like strawberries, mangoes and kiwis; sliced almonds and mocchi! They also have blueberries, cherries, various cereals, chocolate chips, crushed grahams, oreos, nata de coco, jellies, marshmallows and so much more! For a richer taste, you can even drizzle dark chocolate and caramel gourmet sauces from Monin of France.

Tutti Frutti is in my list of favorite frozen yogurt stores simply because of their wide range of flavors where there's always something for everyone in the family. Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt has over 150 stores around the world. This American fro-yo franchise has over 50 different flavors with an assortment of toppings to choose from. And what makes them more popular among their customers is their self-service concept.  Simply choose your cup size, select your fro-yo flavors, dispense the fro-yo, add toppings, weigh, and pay (@ P20 per ounce).

For the weigh-in -- my cup with Taro & DBC under the Original Tart, topped with kiwi, mango, strawberry, almonds, and mocchi. Winner!
