M Baldemor X beabi Floral Symphony Collection

Fresh off the launch, I am sharing with you the latest limited edition collection from lifestyle brand beabi, who is celebrating its 10th year, in collaboration with world renowned Filipino artist Manuel Baldemor. I am familiar with Baldemor's masterpieces because I like his colorful little houses and lively geometric style in painting. Look him up to see his beautiful works of art. With his first brand collab, we saw another side of the artist with the MBaldemor x beabi Floral Symphony Collection.

The MBaldemor x beabi Floral Symphony Collection features rarely publicized floral paintings by Manuel Baldemor which have only been exhibited abroad. 

Baldemor pays tribute to flowers as a “symbol of love and peace”. According to him, flowers are an indispensable element of the Filipino landscape.

 

Some of his beautiful floral-themed watercolor paintings were displayed at the Ronac Art Center, the venue of the unveiling which happened earlier today. I had the pleasure of meeting him at the event, and siyempre, I had my bag signed by the master himself with matching photo-opp pa, heehee! He was very warm, friendly, and accommodating.

beabi is known for it's modern, multi-functional storage bags and travel accessories. I've bought a lot of their Letter Initial bags, pouches and lunch bags, kasi they make practical gifts. 

beabi owner Willin Chan shared that this idea of a collaboration came about after she bought a Baldemor painting and thought of having his works on their products. It was a wonderful opportunity to bring Baldemor's art to a wider audience. The idea was received well by the artist, and so the MBaldemor x beabi Floral Symphony Collection was born. With this special collection, we can now own and enjoy a piece of his are without breaking the bank. :)

Each bag is water repellent, lightweight, and comes with a dust bag and matching pouch.
