Summer Kicks from Sugar Kids

Women and shoes. We can't have enough. I'm so thankful I have a daughter whom I can share my "girly" interests with, and of course, to be my shopping buddy. She's just 8 but she has her own sense of style already. It's funny that she also enjoys looking through racks of clothes, when in the mood, but more for shoes! When I told her we'll be going to Megamall with her cousins to buy shoes, she's raring to go!

When it comes to children's shoes, I'm more practical in choosing the brand and price range. They easily outgrow each pair and it's such a waste to splurge on footwear, but top priority is still comfort. It's a different story for boys, kasi there are limited styles lang naman for them. So, my boy has one or two more expensive and durable pairs than the girl since his are on heavy rotation.

Girls' (women's) shoes are a whole different level, and they can get wild! We have more styles and colors to choose from. For my girl, I got her some comfy, pricey pairs, but half from her shoe rack are from affordable brands since she won't fit in them anymore after a year, at most. Sugar Kids from SM is one of the brands that my girl grew up with.  From sandals, to mary janes, and flats, she's had them all. Check out her Sugar Kids metallic pink sandals back in 2010, and white studded slip-ons bought just last year.

This summer of 2015, Sugar Kids came out with more colorful collection of uber comfy sandals, printed flats, sneakers and skate shoes!

Here are some of the fun styles we've spotted during our shopping day at SM Megamall several weeks ago.

Cute floral printed skate shoes and cool sandals in metallic, patent, and soft leatherette with cushioned insoles -- spell comfy! I also wanted for myself, hahahaha! Birks ang peg! All these go for less than P400 a pair.

She ended up with this aqua blue on the bottom right. Ang lambot!

These strappy multi-colored sandals can match with so many colors in her wardrobe. My nieces also loved this style, but broken sizes na.

Buy 2 for only P349.75!!! What a steal!
I did not notice the sign when I grabbed this leopard print ballet flats for the girls. The sales attendant just told us to get another pair since it's priced for 2 pairs!

My nieces got a pair each, while my girl added this dotted gray and white pair. All made with printed fabric and rubber sole. Best buy of the season!

I wanted a dress shoes for my unica hija, so she approved this open-toe, ankle strap shoes in soft leather laser-cut. She only has her size in black and that's what we got. Only P400+ for this style!

It was the perfect girls' day out complete with shoe-shopping, thanks to Sugar Kids! We'll definitely be back for more, including a smart pair of black shoes in time for school next month.
