Mom-Finds: Beatrix Bags and Lunchbox for School and Travel

Summer is almost over and it's time to shop for the children's school needs like supplies, shoes, bags and uniforms. My kids don't change school bags often since we really go for durability and in classic styles. They use their bags for at least two years, and we only change because nagsawa na sila and wanted something different. Since my boy is homeschooled, he doesn't need one anymore. He's 11 and he just carry a small backpack or body bag when we go to his extra-curricular classes. My girl has been using the same pink bag and matching lunch box for more than two years. She already asked for a new one this coming school year.

Beatrix came at a perfect time and I was able to attend the launch held recently, which showcased the many styles and designs -- with cute names too, like Percival T-rex, Penelope octopus, Alexander robot, and Papar owl. All of us moms who were there went gaga over the many adorable characters embroidered (not printed) on the items.

I've been seeing Beatrix items on Quirks' Instagram, the distributor of Beatrix and Dwell Studio sheets. So, I showed them to my girl and asked for her favorite. I promised to buy her a bag. She liked the Dolce & Panna ice cream, Penelope, and Juju lady bug. Her top choice is Juju. She's been using all pink stuff since preschool, so red naman daw ngayon. =) I approve! And here's Juju.

The prices are reasonable based on the quality and features. Her old bag looks similar, with an animal character too. But the interior of the Beatrix bag is fully lined, with pocket, plus the structure and materials feel more durable. Eto sya, playing with the bag since she got it...full of toys and whatnots!
