Explore, Learn, Shop at the Philippine Homeschool Conference 2015

Are you considering homeschooling your kids?
Wanna learn more about what homeschooling is all about?
Let me invite you to the largest homeschooling conference this year:

Philippine Homeschool Conference 2015: Ready for the World!
October 17, 2015 - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Samsung Hall and SMX at SM Aura
Keynote talks : Samsung Hall
Workshops and Homeschool expo : SMX Convention Center

This is our second year to homeschool our son with TMA Homeschool and I've written about our story and our ups and downs in previous post here. We are still learning, with many doubts, fears, joys, and triumphs along the way. It is not an easy path -- choosing to take on the responsibility of educating our child outside the conventional learning institution that we all grew up with. But in recent years, more and more people in the country have come to accept and recognize homeschooling as another method of "schooling" and educating our children.

Homeschoolers and those exploring this educational option will be inspired, informed and empowered in this biggest homeschooling event.

I still consider myself a newbie homeschooler so I always seek to learn from seasoned homeschoolers as well as from talks and conferences like this one. If you want to explore homeschooling, or simply want to gain more insights and grow in your homeschooling journey like me, then I encourage you to register and join this year's conference!

As a precursor to the “Global Home Education Conference” (GHEC) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in March 2016, two well-respected homeschool advocates and speakers from the United States will be gracing the event as keynote speakers:
  • Michael Donnelly - Director for Global Outreach of the Homeschool Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) and Secretary of GHEC 2016
  • Rachael Carman - Mother of seven and best-selling author and publisher of popular homeschool science curriculum Apologia
Other distinguished speakers:
  • Davis Carman - President of Apologia (Rachael’s husband)
  • Edric Mendoza - Homeschooling advocate, host of On The Money and homeschooling dad of five
  • Chinkee Tan - Motivational speaker and wealth coach

Part of this year's conference is the much-awaited Homeschool Expo where participants can avail of products and services from various learning providers, purchase educational tools, toys, books and other finds for parents and kids, which are especially useful for homeschooling families.

Get the All Access Pass = Php 1200 per person
(Pass to go in and out of all three venues, including the Expo)
This expo will also be open to the public = Php 50 entrance fee per head.

While parents are learning from the talks, the kids can attend the arts and crafts workshops for a minimal fee of Php 500 per head, inclusive of materials!
