It's all about fun, colorful, and functional bags -- that's Kipling from Antwerp, Belgium. Their Summer/Pre-Fall Collection was launched with a media shopping event at their SM Aura store last June 28, but I missed it! The week after, I was able to go to the mall with my family and so I went to see their latest collection. So much eye-candy! Kipling has been consistent in putting the FUN in all their designs, even the creative use of their monkey logo. I love the new signature prints and bold color combinations. Let me show you some of them here.

I've known Kipling as a brand of sporty, durable bags since I was in college. It's on the pricey side so I was not able to buy one for myself then, and I was not that into sporty bags. When I had my second baby, I chanced upon this quirky pink camo-printed tote bag. It's not sporty, so I liked it even more! It's the last piece and just the right size we were looking for since there were days that we don't need to lug around a big diaper bag. Here it is now, seven years old and counting, with just a snag from the inner lining. This Kipling bag is still in great condition and remains in style. Uso pa rin diba? =)
During my store visit, I found so many cute designs from their Kipling's Summer Pre-Fall collection, particularly the floral and monkey prints, coral and white combo, and the burst of bright colors. They also have black and white options for those who prefer the basics.

The bags are mainly for women, but with the range of sizes and functionality, other members of the family can find a bag ideal for travel, for school, and for work. I was ecstatic when Kipling asked me to choose a bag since I missed the event. Thank you Kipling! I browsed through the catalogue before I went to the store. Too many styles, and colors, and prints -- it was not easy, I tell you! Even the monkey has its own charm! =)
I have mostly tote bags so I opted for a hobo style this time, and chose a bold print. Kipling is a fun and casual bag. I may not be sporty but I can be adventurous with a Kipling!
My top pick is this Kipling Bagsational Shoulder Bag (in the PhP7K+ price range) in Tropic Flower print. It's basically a hobo bag by it's shape, slouchy but considerably large. I chose this colorful design because I don't have a casual printed bag yet.
The size and shape is just right for my frame. It features several pockets and dividers, with lots of room inside. Made with durable, lightweight material - 100% polyamide.
