Bath time for my kids has always been enjoyable and pleasant. The only issue they usually have is who goes first and where - shower or bath tub. Ever since they were toddlers, head-to-toe liquid body wash have been their preferred form of cleanser. We've been using different brands alternately, and one of our favorites is Human Nature.

Two Mondays ago, Human Nature invited the SoMoms to brunch and we got reintroduced to this well-loved brand. It was my first time to personally meet the amazing woman behind this company, Ms. Anna Meloto-Wilk. What made me appreciate this home-grown company even more is learning about the brand's philosophy and the people behind it. Human Nature has since grown to become the leading local manufacturer of natural personal care products that has a deep corporate social responsibility.
One of the first products I bought two years ago was Human Nature Kids Natural Shampoo and Body Wash. I even included it in my year-end favorite finds of 2011 here.
We love Tangerine Tarsier with it's zesty orange scent. Human Nature has re-packaged it and created a 'his and hers' bottle - it's now renamed Tangerine Thunder with a hot rod car for boys, and new scent Ocean Apple with a mermaid design for the girls. Perfect for my boy and my girl!
Human Nature’s Kids Natural Shampoo & Body Wash is still 96.4% Natural and 100% free from harmful chemicals, "with a unique Protein Care System that helps keep your child’s hair healthy and skin soft and supple".
Another line we've tried is Human Nature Natural Baby Care Line, relaunched in a more fresh and "natural" look in green and white. I don't have a baby anymore but as they say, if it's good for babies, it's good for the whole family too, right? =) This line was formally introduced at the Born Free event I attended last year and they still have the same natural goodness that's safe, mild and gentle on baby's sensitive skin. The kids still enjoy using the Natural Baby Wash, which now comes in a more convenient pump bottle and it still 99.3% natural. Aside from the shampoo and baby line, Human Nature came out with this yummy coconut-based Natural Bath Soap, with creamy chocolate scent! I'm still saving it until after they use up the baby wash. =)

During our hearty brunch and kwentuhan with the Human Nature ladies, they also introduced their latest social enterprise under a Gawad Kalinga livelihood project for women, Plush & Play. These stuffed felt toys are made with a soft and hypoallergenic fabric called Velboa, safe and ideal for infants and toddlers. What's really cute about these fruit and veggie toys is they are named after popular Pinoy personalities! Can you guess the real names that inspired these characters? =)
